nerf bars & s-10s

i just thought about this, but i just bought some arens nerfs. my 400ex barely fits in the s-10 as is, how will it fit with nerfs?

id have to look closer, but i dont think it will work. that would be my luck:mad:

Don't hold me to this, I believe that the nerfs will just ride on the wheel wells.

it almost looks to me that the nerfs will sit on the wheel wells and not let the tires hit the bed. i dont i want the weight of the quad on the nerfs every time i haul it.

I have done it before, What you do is make a little mounting thing out of wood to go under the tires so that it wont put stress on the nerfs. Just make the wedge out of wood aand the same dimensions as your box, that way it wont slide around.

thats a pretty good idea, ive got a simmilar thing i made up to keep weights in the back in the winter

I have a "95" S-10 & mine fits just fine in the back with nerfs..you sould be fine.......;)

i loaded up yesterday, and it does look like ill have about an inch to spare, but i would think if a person did any suspension work that effected ride height, or changed to smaller tires it wouldnt work.
