V-paddles are the way to go they help you turn alot easier

V-shaped paddles assist in turning, not good for drag racing
Straight cut paddles are good for well...going straight. But you should have enough power to slide the *** end around with the straight paddles.

I have Gecko's which I am going to get rid off. They are decent paddles but some 8-9 paddle haulers is where it's at!

Haulers would be my choice!

good luck

Get some 8 paddle haulers for the 416. The V-Paddles are a big waste...

how much of a difference can you tell from v-pattern to straight? Is it really harder to turn?

BTW you should post this in the duning Section;) Depending on your riding yo so most, will help you decide on a tire. Most prefer Straight paddles and DEF get a set of Mohawks for your fronts:blah: Straights arent harder to turn but they dont slide as easily. A Hauler or a Turbo Paddle would work well for you.If you plan on doing any serious climbing, I suggest a straight paddle most definately........:)

I have straight paddles and don't have a problem with turning. The V's do turn easier but I prefer the straights for climbing.
Just got back from a week at Florence:D
