Does a pilot jet get bigger the smaller the number like is a 50 bigger or smaller than a 52? And if Im at 500 ft and Im running a 52 pilot do u think I need to change it if I go to sea level? And if so what to?

Bigger the number, bigger the jet. I don't know about 500ft elevation change on an R though...

The size usually refers to the diameter of the hole in thousandths of an inch. 50 pilot = .050" hole diameter. You shouldn't need to rejet for a 500ft altitude change, unless your jetting's right on the verge of being too lean anyways. You can compensate by closing the air screw about an eighth of a turn at a time until it runs right. I'm assuming this is for an R?

higher altitude = smaller jets

500ft will not make a noticable difference though. i think it mainly matters if your changing altitudes of 3000ft or more.
