best cam for a 300ex?

this winter i plan on rebuilding the motor in my 300ex, 11:1 wisco piston, port and polish job, and a cam, but i was wondering, what kind of cam is the best? i will be doing agressive trail riding, and riding in mud and snow some. I am looking for some more power with out boring the motor. so what is the best cam for all around powe increase? and what company makes the best cam. I know there are people out there that know. i need to keep up with the newer atvs. i have a 97 300ex

webcam makes good cams for 300's..u can get a drop in or get a aggressive one but u will have to get titanium springs and harden rocker arms..tc makes good cams too

do i need my rockers hard welded for an all around cam?
who hard welds rockers?

it would be highly recommened to hardern ur rocker arms

i agree, i would also look into new valves and titanium springs anyway. Your going to be in the motor anyway. It may be slight overkill now but later you might want to hop it up even more. I like to be safer than sorry. I like a good strong motor even if it is overkill.:)

yeah i would just go ahead and replace everything..cam,valves,springs, and rocker arms..webcam makes harden rocker arms..i got my webcam arms from profab racing..i think they were $130 for the set..their website is profabatv.com..check em out they have some good stuff
