head bolts keep coming loose

I know this should prolly be in the non-honda forum but i have someone coming to take a spin on my blaster and hopefully buy it this weekend and i need to get this problem fixed!


not the studs but nut you might even call it keeps coming loose, i have tryed the high temp lock tight, they are tourqued right with a nice wrench... i just dont know why this keeps happening, i can go a few miles before you can start to tell its coming loose and then i have to re- tourque it again, and it is only one of them that comes loose, the front right one.

Sounds like the threads are stripped in either the stud or the nut. Try using a new nut and torque it down.

Did you by any chance tighten the bolts too much one, because the bolt could be strippid. If thats not it, than perhaps the bold is woen out, and needs to be replaced.

i dont think they are striped and when i tighten them i go in a cris cross kinda patern, but maybe they are worn out then, worth a shot atleast
