View Full Version : Radatior Hose rubbing on pipe!

:mad: It rubs on it and I dunno what to do I think it burnt a hole it it cause it was leaking ALL over the place last time i rode. Other r's ahve to do this cause I mean there seems to be nothing I can do! iths the hose that comes fromthe back of my cylinder down to the bottom of my engine. i dunno what to do i have to take my pipe off and see what happened it might not have burn a hole. Thanks!

Do you have the fender bracket on it? The bracket is formed to fit aroungd the contour of the pipe and allow the radiator hose to lay against it and keep it off the pipe. You have to tweek the bracket a little on some aftermarket pipes:cool:

EH?! I dunno its an LRD bb pipe and it had a mount on top of the pipe going from there to the frame... HELP!:mad: :(

Well good news! There wasnt any hole my hose clamp came loose! :muscle:

Get yourself some heat tape from your local auto parts store and wrap it around the hose. Its a good saftey measure.

I had the same problem with the R I had. My radiator hose was sitting against my Sparks pipe....never caused a problem tho

I have the clear wacom hoses and I was scared they would burn through, but they didn't. I guess they are made for that.
