1st person shooter

hey im thinkin of buying a new playstation 2 game and i want a 1st person shooter. got to many racing games. im wondering what is the best 1st person shooter game on the playstation 2 consol right now. im looking for something in comparison to halo on X Box in quality and game play. any ideas

ist person genre
like for example classics like wolfenstien, or doom.
today games like halo and half life.
dont they teach you kids anything in english class.
1st person.= me, my self, I hense the game mode is first person, what you would see if you are in the game.
3rd person= would be Gary, Sally, Hank (why did i come up with these names i dont know) the game camera would be situated behind the gamer. like in Armored Core. Grand Theft Auto, among other games.

it all goes back to english class with writing genre's

if u have online or eaven if u dont i would recomend soccom us navy seals... although it isnt 1st person...

the best fps game ever is quake 3 hands down, altho doom 3 will soon be overtaking that. quake 3 is one of the most customizable games ever.
FOR PC, consoles suck the big one compared to computer, altho they have some good games, computers own console's ****tay graphics

that navy seals game is good for shootin' people. so is metal gear solid - if you never played it yet - but its also more of a role playing type game but w/ lots of action.

time spliters 2 is awsome, especially two player mode, you can play for hours

Sniping is AWESOME! Thats what I do when im just messing around and not in a clan match!

i always sniper in soccom... but ever since i started playing halo i suck at soccom... my user name is ~<<M16>>~ maybe if i get bored ill get on tonight... haent played in a long time. right now im playing star wars obi-wan... KICK *** GAME!!!

you should all save the money you spend on consoles and make a good computer for games, nothing compares to PC games.

anyone play Battlefeild 1942 online??its a pc game and a pretty addicting 1st person shooter game....for me anyway,the Desert Combat patch gives ya modern weapons,not the coolest grafics but a fun game:blah:

its a hard game, sometimes i suck sometimes i own, ive come in on foot and took over whole bases, one time i came in, killed about 6 guys with a assault rifle and stole a tanke and proceeded to F them up till i took the flag over. this was in the new Secret weapons of WWII demo. yea lets play sometime, just let me know.

I play almost every night,sometimes gotta take a break tho haha,but yeah.....anytime man:) Im usually on somewhere between 6-10 my time,every now and then I play real late,ppl are easier to kill and not so may ppl that own lol

BTW,MILF....another 1st person game I thought was cool was Conflict Desert Storm,its based on killin Iraqis in desert storm,very cool game
