K&N filter maintence.

i have a K&N filter on my 400ex,
whats the right stuff to use to clean and oil it ? do i have to use K&N filter oil ?
what can i use to clean it ?

Yeah, what they said. I had a K&N on my old 250 and it was awesome. I used the K&N cleaner and oil only. Also, you might want to get an Outerware for your filter depending on where you ride. They run about $15 and are worth it.:D

I agree as well. I have the recharger kit. I've use it on my ATV, truck and street bike filter. It's not hard to clean the filters and as stated before, if you have a sock or other type of external cover, you will get twice as much life between cleanings.
