If i bought 400ex LT +1 400ex a-arms...and put them on my 300...first off how wide would it make my front end. and lt shocks need to be 19 inches right? well...you have to relocate to put 400ex shocks and a-arms on...so if i buy the 400ex lt +1 a-arms and buy 400ex tripple rates with rezzies. would it work right? if i told them what i was doing and stuff....sounds like a great idea to me....another customized thing i could do  let me know what you guys think.

stock 300s are 13 i think...and stock 400 shocks are 16...i think tripple rates are a little bigger...and lt uses 19 inch shocks...so it seems like it would even it out. i dunno. :confused2

it would be like 2.5 inches wider on both sides, and u might as well just get a 19 inch shock and move the shock mounts up.

sounds like it could work, isnt the angle of the shock gonan be weird, wont that affect the front end handling?

I don't know why you don't trust those brackets, the 300ex's frame is only about an 1/8th of an inch thick. Most people make the brackets out of 1/4 or 5/16 steel. If they are welded good, and you use good hard bolts, you'll break the frame before the bracket or the bolts.

Mine's made out of 5/16 inch steel, I used grade 8 18mmx14mm bolts (18 head, 14 outside diameter) I've ridden hard on this bracket and it doesn't even flex, my aluminum bars flex more than this thing.

I'm not making anymore, I think Toby400ex makes them for around $60, contact him, there's always one on ebay for $40-$60. I just printed the picture for that auction and made it from the picture. On mine it moved the shocks up 3 1/4" and out
1 1/4"

i would try regular 16 in 400ex shocks before you try 19". the 16's should work right but will need to be worked for the lt a-arms
