powdercoat hold up on a jug? I wanna do the one on my quad, and also ones on a harley. I may try the quad first, but was wondering if anybody has already tried it with any luck?
Yes it will hold up,,,,,,,i have done some old motorcycle jugs (air cooled) for a guy,,,,and i did the cylinders on a banshee for my friend who MX'ed it,,,,,,,,,held up great........
i wouldnt recommend it on an air cooled motor though,,,,,,,,,,PC will decrease heat transfer a bit on the fins.........
good luck

What CBW said. One way to get around this is to coat it, than polish the fins. It looks pretty trick once it done, but it is a lot more work.
