i need some ideas

well im putting together another 400 and im kinda stuck on a color scheme:ermm:

i kinda wanted to keep this one kinda plain and not look as busy withy a really fancy color. ive been playing with a new color that resembles the stock z400 frame....but im having touble deciding on a good plastic color. im leaning right now to do 2 of my frames so i can have a choice....

1 will be charcoal metalic and the other will be translucent red. i was figuring on using blue fullbore for the silver frame and probably white or yellow fullbore on the red frame.

any suggestions?

red frame with the yellow fullbore will look nice

for the other, try a white frame with yz blue fullbore. it will look kickass! also, use blue and white quadshop graphics this time with yellow letters.

always count on me pappy! i got lots of ideas and little money, youve got little ideas and lots of money, its perfect!

the white and blue was for my 03 gncc blaster project, but thats on hold for now, so i'll let you try it;)

Kenny I think you shouldn't get white polastic this time. You've done too many white ones go with another color. I think the blue fullbore will be nice.

yes, i love the sport class. starts last row, and keeps you in the afternoon race. 300ex's and blasters dominate the class by a very wide margin, thought i'd try a 2 stroke.

the 03's arent bad, they got the hydro brakes

well if your not riding it.A white frame on red plastic looks great.If you have a legacy catalog look on the back cover.Theres one on there.I almost went that way but i knew it would be a bear to keep clean.But it does look awesome! The one they have has a red oil tank and motor mounts too.

Just do a silvervein (or something similar) frame with red plastic.

show chrome everything & black fullbore with a custom tribal flame fade airbrush. That's my dream combo. I'm not big on the red/yellow combo but the blue on red sounds sharp.

Pappy, how does that carbon fiber plastic look like from laker customs.

If it's nice, black plastic with yellow frame or green frame. (like doug's 250r)

or I think when I have mine down, yellow frame with red plastic.

I'm with him. Blue Fullbore on a red frame(similar to the new YFZ frame) would look sweet.

I was thinking of doing blue Fullbore on the front of mine with red rear plastic and a trans blue frame.

Take a look at yellow frame with silver plastics. Believe it or not it is sharp. There is a 250r on ebay now with that color scheme and it looks damn good.

we rebuilt a pickup i wrecked and painted it jade green. the interior was done in a medium grey. they go really good together, or how about a matalic maroon and silver.:devious:

I say baby$hit green for the frame....

Beer puke yeller for the rest of the chassis....

and stock red 400ex polastic...


that mofo would be badazz with these colors and more than original.....:blah:

frame ....translucent candy red

subframe.....chromed

a arms....chromed

swing arm chromed

stem.....chromed

the small parts will be charcoal metalic and chromed

listen pappy, get frame chromed. a-arms blue swingarm blue, stem chrome, subframe chrome, spindles pearl white, hubs blues, all little things pearl white. white or yellow fulbore... this is the first thing off the top of my head
