I'm going to buy a graphics kit for my 400ex, but I have a Clarke 5.5 gallon tank, I've heard that the graphics kit will peel off of the tank in no time. Has anyone else heard this, or if its true, is there a trick to keep it from happening?

you can perforate the graphics, letting the fuel fumes vent through. many xr graphics have this i know

I have noticed that some do have small holes, kinda like a mesh, now I know why. Thanks

I know plastic will vent gasses, are those clark tanks plastic? I think they would heavy if they were metal.

it will still bubble up but not as bad, make sure the graphics dont have alot of white, on my xr they did and now its all yellow from gas fumes:mad:

I just put a new set on yesterday and the instructions said to drain all gas for it will cause it to bubble up. I had the plastic off so i didnt need to.

Thanks, this stuff seems like common sense, but I didn't realize it till now. I know that some companies make clear cover sheets to protect graphics from abrasions , but that sounds like it would be the wrong thing to do on a fuel tank.

Ya think putting holes in it will work if they have been on for a while? mine have been on for a while will the glue still be good under the bubbles?
