Need your input PLEASE!

Ive been trying to figure out which quad to get. Im stuck between the 400EX and the sweet legendary 250R. I plan on racing Motocross with it. I know that with the new Z/KFX 400 and now the YFZ/TRX 450's that the 400EX will drop in price and not hold their value. But ive noticed that when i go to races, its like 250R's all over, winning and what not:D But when they were brand new, they costed i think like $2999. Now all modded and stuff they are from $3699 to $21,000(K&K Racing). I also do a lot of trail riding. Not tight woods but its got muddy areas, rocky areas, and sandy spots. Perfect for practice. I just wanted some imput on what i should get. The 400EX or the 250R. I like the 250R because i can buy it now, sell it in a few years and still get almost as much as i paid for it. What do you guys prefer with the type of style i ride? Thanks, Mike

well the 400ex will be great for the trail riding and ok for the racing and the 250r will be great for racing but ok for trail riding its all up to you but if i were you id get a 400 but thats just me or get both. :blah:

400ex, more reliable, newer, and im sure you can get a great deal on one now.
