can anybody tell how much carbon fiber beadlocks weigh? also, how much lighter are they than say stock 400ex or 250r rims? anything helps, thanks.

i dont have any definite numbers but they are a shade heavier than 400ex oem wheels. But lighter than anyother beadlock.:D

BTW does anyone know what size stock 300ex/400ex aluminum rims are- like if they are .125's or something.

no oem honda rims are really thick and tough i think they are maybe a 190 or a tad thicker.......:)

thje stock rims are good they lasted me 4 years and now there all twisted and out of shape but they did there job

I think that they are lighter than stock wheels. I never weighed them, but they seem very light.:cool:

i would def get hiper rims! those things are bomb proof! i got some and LOVE them and they weigh less than my itp 8x8 race rims (non beadlock)

I wouldn't say they are bomb proof. I have broken mine three times. Although I never had to pay anyting to fix them. That one year warrenty could be (and has been to me) very valuable to someone.

thanks for all the help, i dont know too much about em' so how hard is it to switch them from one tire to another? Im just wonderin cause id like to switch them to my paddles for when i go to the beach. thanks.

hipers are NOT as light as stock rims im not even sure if there lighter than aluminum beadlocks but i know there strong

1/2 the purpose of using carbon fiber was to make them lighter than the aluminum beadlocks

I can have both of my rear tires changed in about 20-25 minutes. The fronts take a little longer, because they are only a single beadlock.

oh i picked one up they are pretty heavy, i never picked up a aluminum bead before but i thought the carbon fiber was just better thats why everyone had em
