View Full Version : The ZPS/SCS Shock Treatment?

08-12-2001, 10:53 PM
I just got back from the Oregon Dunes, and when I was drag racing the front end wouldn't stay down. I have heard that the ZPS/SCS shock treatment will lower my Quad, and the front end won't come up as much.

Is this true? How much will it lower my quad?
I have works front and back right now.

Yes, it's true.

Ride height is adjustable on most "ZPS" style shocks. I'd personally run about 7.5" of frame to ground clearance on a 400EX for dunes.

It will keep the front on the ground for drag racing and hill climing. It does it so much that you'll feel like you've lost horsepower just by bolting the shocks on.

Great mod. The PEP ZPS are ride height adjustable and when your in the air they fully extend to soak it all up. The TCS SCS are the same. Either one will lower your ride.
