New piston for my 300EX.....

I just took my head apart today & am going to put a higher comp piston in. But my question is should i get it bored out a little bit while its apart??:huh All suggestions are appreciated. thanks.

when you get inside there look at the walls.."i'm sure you already know".....but check out your walls...run your finger up them to the top if there's a little "lip" at the top..bore over..so that the piston will go all the way up with no problems.....if not....."i'm about to go inside mine also" if there nothing wrong with your piston "scratches a lip"....i might take it off your hands....i'm about to have to go inside mine also...and i might need one....

nothing is wrong with my old piston, just wanted a high comp piston

bore that ****** out. youll get more power. i say go 60 or 80 over and put a 11.1 high compresion piston. you'l defiently get some gains.
