Any1 had one? The wife took my son to the doc today and found out he fractured his arm last night.....and she's blamin me...lol

We were workin on the jump out back, and I guess we got a little carried away....and I guess she thinks I shouldnt have let him jump it..... But he landed it fine 4 times.... then he hit it WAYY too fast and overshot by about 4 feet... loud crash!

So not sure how long he's out for.... has to get a hard cast on tomorrow...

So maybe it was a little too big for a 250ex.....???

That's what I thought.... how long were u in a cast?? Hoping he won't be out long, they said its pretty common "impact" type injury, when the softer bone buckles... we'll find out more today when he gets the hard cast put on.

KASCHAK - I'll get some more pics of him, but it might be a while... Here were the last ones: http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68779

I wrecked my 250 into a ditch one time and went to the hospital b/c I thought I'd broken both my wrists. Doc said I had a buckle fracture in my right wrist, and my left elbow. I had a hard cast on my wrist for 6 weeks, and for my elbow he said to keep it in an sling for a few weeks. Sorry for your little boy...:(

Damn, those 250EXs must have crappy suspension. I'm assuming he wrecked on the bigger jump, right? At least he was pushing himself and going big.. No shame in that :D

I was in a cast for a month, but even about 2 weeks after that it hurt to ride.:(

Yeah, the doc said 4 weeks for the cast and no football or quad for up to 6 weeks....... I'm thinking duct tape and a pillow.

i had a buckle fracture last winter from snowboarding,, and what it is is when the bone doesnt brake it compresses like a shock,, and gets thicker in one spot,,

if i could find my x rays id scan em en show ya but...;)

not that bad though,, a regular brake is worse
