i am going to have the arms and shocks befor the mountaing bracket, can u still put it all together and ride it or not?
also does anyone have a braket or is their anywhere eles to get one then ebay?

someone here makes them. you may want to try a search. if the shocks are 400ex length the you won't be able to put them on without the bracket. they have to be 13.5" to 13.75" to fit without the bracket. you can put the 400ex a arms on with the stock 300 shocks but it will sit low and bottom out easily. good luck!

I know that Durablue makes a lowering kit for the 250x/300EX It should do basically the same thing, relocate the upper shock mounts so that you can run longer shocks.

I wouldn't suggest that unless you're flat tracking. I don't think the lowering kit could handle the stress of jumping. Also the lowering kits are more expensive than the shockmount brackets. Also the shockmount brackets are supposed to be made to correct the geometry to match the 400ex.
