:devil: is there any web site i can look at or mags i can order to get part for my 250x i want a pipe but dont know what esle i should put on it for more speed and dont no where to get it from:confused:

go to rockymountainatv.com and order their mag. c&d racing here on the site has lots of good parts. just go to yahoo and type in atv parts or something like that

do u want like a motor kit or just like pipe and jet, get an airfilter too
also u can change the gears for speed

Arent 250x's similar to 300ex, in that case most 300ex mods will fit a 250x.

yes, the 250x and 300ex are the same.. other then on has a larger engone and electric start..

You should look into the 350x conversion. You can probably pick up a decent engine for $500, and the conversion kit from Powroll is another $500. Then, you can sell your 250X engine for $400, bringing your total cost down to $600.

I'm willing to bet that a 350X will beat any 250X with $600 worth of upgrades. You lose reverse, but you also gain an extra gear (the 350X has a 6-speed transmission)

If you are skeptical, just wait a few months. I just purchased my 350X motor a few days ago, and I plan on doing this conversion over the winter. I'll take some pictures and write a tutorial for the Tech Section on the conversion. My girlfriend also has a completely stock 250x, and 400EX, so I'll be able to do a direct performance comparision between these bikes.
