300ex with 400ex front end

i have a 01 300ex whit stock front end i am getting a 400ex front end with pep triple rate springs and rezzys, how big of a difference will i notice? and how much wider will the bike be with 400ex arms?:D

i think the 400ex arms make it 1" to 2" wider

are peps good shocks, better then works and up their with the rest??
