if i were to put 18's on the rear on my 9 inch rims how much smaller would i have to go on a rear sprocket for it to be the same speed as if i had normal stock sprocket and stocker tires on my 300?

would changing the sprocket size to mak e it normal speed change the rev points of the quad...like rev high a bit quicker than usual???

how could i avoid this?

you just have to experiment with different size sprockets. i would say a 14 on the front and if that makes it slower than stock (acceleration) put the stock 13 back on, try a 36 rear. if thats faster than stock (acceleration) go to a 35, if its still slower (acceleration)try a 37 until you find a close compromise.

and if you should get a very close similarity to stock gearing/stock tires, there will be vrtually no change in how fast the motor revs and when you should shift.
