i am kinda new at this but i am pretty sure that if you go big they keep your tire on after blowing it so you still get traction

basically a beadlock rim is designed to keep the bead locked to the rim....this prevents the tire from coming off the rim in the event of a flat.
the beadlock offers a great deal of strength to the rim by its design. some beadlocks offer a dual beadlock....and most quality beadlocks offer a inner reinforcing ring

hey pappy are those burgards stronger than the reg 190s, weve bent and twisted a bunch of them, also are the fronts on the inside a reinforcing ring or rolled edge?

yes ...just about any beadlock rim will out preform a standard .190 rim. i honestly cant say how they compare to a rolled edge rim but im thinkin they are still stronger.
i too have flat spotted many a 190 rim:p
as far as the fronts having a re inforcing ring....ive seen them both ways. i dunno if thats standard or something you have to request...mine have it tho:D
