Any idea what I missed!!

I just replaced my clutch in my 88 250R with a Hinson basket and barnette clutch. I've put it together and taken apart twice now. I get it together and start it up goto put it in gear and nothin'. I was told that I probably didn't have the basket completly on so I took it back apart and same thing when I got it back together again. This sucks to have spent that kind of money and not be able to ride it. Any idea what I might have overlooked or anything.

How does the lever feel when you pull it? Too hard? Way to easy? Just right?

Off the top of my head I would guess when putting the cover on you didnt get the arm to lock under the lil thingie it gets locked under.:huh .. if that was the case I think the lever would be easy to pull.

Then again, I know on Banshees you can adjust the Hinson clutches.. I think, cause my buddy just asked me today to come over and help him adjust his clutch, and before then I never knew there was adjustments on an aftermarket clutch. ... that is if my buddy even knows what the hell he is talking about.......
