I have a 91' Toyota pick up Ext. cab with a 3.0 v6, 5 speed, I'm getting a 4" or 6" suspension lift and either 32's or 33's. I'm definetly getting a K &N intake for it, Any opinions on what kind of lift and size tires to match. I don't know if I want to put it on myself or have it done by someone who knows what they are doing.

sweet, I saw one yesterday, but it was too big for it's tires. I want it to look proportional, I want the right size tires for the lift :blah:

I found a set of aluminum wheels with stainless steel centers and lug nuts. They are 15 X 8's. They have 31.10.50's mounted on them now, I'm going to pick them up tomorrow. I can mount bigger tires on them when i get a lift on

I had a 3" lift on my 91 and it was just right with 33's. Be ready to loose some power unless you change the ring and pinion gears.:(

you can put as wide as a 12.50 on the 8 inch wide wheels no problem

u r gonna have to change your gearing..... if u want some get up and go...... go with 6" of lift on 35s....... some lifts arent true "lifts".... make sure you get the lift that actually lifts the truck.... some are cheap and rip u off and say they lift the truck but actually dont. they lift it only somewhat.......

I've got a 94 Toy. Ex.cab with 3" body lift and the 4-5" superlift suspension lift..I am running 4.88 gears and 35" wrangler MTR's
I would recommend the superlift kit, easy to install, nice looking, comes with shocks..I also recommend the Wrangler MTR's, they are awesome tires..I have the 4cyl. and with 4.88's gears it does fine..I also have a header,K&n filter charger kit, which helps alittle..I can email a pic to you later if you want to see my truck..:) Any questions I will try to help as much as I can..

Between my wife and my parents we have 3)Toyota trucks and 1) 4 runner..We have done alot of different things to the Toyotas..

go with 35 inch MTRs and 529 gears and put a strait axle up front from all pro offroad get rid of that IFS crap and do it yourself it is a lot cheaper if you wanna take it offroad a lot get some 63 inch chevy leaf springs with 4 inch blocks in the rear and some YJ 4 inch lifting springs in the front you will actually get about 6 inches of lift outta them because jeeps come sprung under the axle and toyota is sprung over oh and get some extended steel braided brake lines i have pics of some toyotas just email me at SK8shortys5@aol.com if you want them
