I need to know what would be the best shock rebuild for a TRX400EX with a +1 swing arm......and how much it would cost.Where should i get this rebuild from?

Baldwin can Convert your Stock Rear Shock to PEP ZPS for $425. That would be the best rebuild. Marcum`s Rebuilds Rear Shocks too. I think his is around $250.

Marty at the Quadshop does rebuilds and also conversions. He is going to convert my rear shock to Elka SSD for $275.00. His normal price is $285.00. That is considerably lower than the PEP ZPS conversion. Give Marty a call. He's great to work with. His info is in the links section.

I had Terry Marcum rebuild my rear shock for $250,,now a rebuild can vary in prices depending on your wieght and riding style,,mine got the complete rebuild and I rode it this weekend on a MX track for the first time,,,WOW,,what a difference never came close to bottoming it out,,even when casing doubles,,much much better,,if you wiegh over 180 I have to recommend this..:D

I would like to get PEP ZPS Front Shocks and the Rear PEP Conversion next Winter. I like the Power of mine, but I need better Shocks to soak up the ruts, roots, and other stuff I hit hard.

DEFINETLY GO WITH A TOP BRAND EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO SAVE SOME MONEY A LITTLE LONGER. GO WITH PEP OR CUSTOM AXIS. I JUST PUT A FULL SET OF CUSTOM AXIS ON MY 88R AND THEY ARE WAWSOME!!!!!

MY 85ATC250R HAS A PEP REAR SHOCK, NOT ZPS, BUT JUMPS AND WHOOPS ARE SOAKED UP A THOUDAND TIMES BETTER THAN STOCK.

I BELIEVE BOTH COMPANIES DO REBUILDS FOR THE EX.
REMEMBER YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
