I was woundering if a mod could tell me my member number? And it would be cool if we got a number so we just all know. Thanks:)

There's no way to know unless you start counting the member's list. There may be a feature in the forum software but I am unaware of it.

My guess is 5808

if you hold the mouse over your "profile" button you'll see, at the bottom of your screen the link route. At the end of that route is a number. Yours is 5808...

Mine is like 5869 I think... You can do this for all profiles, and it shows a number at the end. I'm not sure if it accounts for all the banned members though:ermm:

Ofcourse this is only my best guess, and may not be right, but it is very logical:confused:

if this is right Guy400 is member number 12

That number is the number the forum software assigned you when you registered with this board. It does not take into account how long you were a member on the old site. I was the 12th person to register here when Leo opened it up to us and MOFO was the 55th. However, he was a member of the old site about 8 months before I came.

Doesnt make sense though...if 400exBro is almost 1000 and Guy is 12...how does that work? Look at the join dates. 400exBro joined this board before Guy did....see what Im sayin... :confused2

Yeah That's what I thought taking into account your registered date, being July 01, and his in late Oct. 2000. But for this new forum it would be correct then, on what member number you are in sequence.

It doesn't take into account the old board member registration dates. Only when they signed up, and/or were transffered to the new board set-up......

go look at YFZcentral.com They have member number's posted over there. I'm number 64. and if you look at that link, I'm number 64 still........here's a good question, find member #1 over there. Steve is number 2????? I PM'd number one, and havn't got a response, I think that is his Master control user ID? this is all my best guest so........ But I have been pondering this for a while now.

From what I can guess is the exriders.com board switched formats on July 8 2001. and guy400 just so happened to register that day. That's why he has such a low number........shortly after close to 1000+ people registered / re-registerd in july.

This does get a bit confusing. If I look at the current member list, I am number 7.... but if you look at my profile it says 55. Now I remember there were around 20-25 members when I joined, so my REAL number should be in the low 20's. I think when the board was switched under Leo, things got mixed around.... only effecting the members under Leo with the old software... myself for example. Pretty much what Guy said... :D

the only number you will have is the one when leo switched boards. Its been the same since then. Before Leo switch boards your number would be exact, but the new one is how ever Leo set it up, which is likely alphabetical order.... #'s first. 2921 is my number....
