If you are running stock size rears (20") you will notice a big change in acceleration, but you will lose top end and have to shift more frequently, but if you need more low end and climb lots of hills you will love it.

i have a 14 tooth front sprocket with stock rear tires and my 400 accels very fast, and yes i do have to shift a lot better. but i do a lot of trail riding so i need the extra accel. and bottom end.

I had a 14 tooth front sproket with "22's and I didn't like it. I lost to much top end, and I had to **** to much. Its great if you are doing hillclimbing, but all I do it ride trails and race friends, so I put the 15 back on. You will lose about 5-6mph.

Well I just bought a new set of front sprockets, I change them all the time, 15 for trails, 14 for hills and a 16 for dunes, I was just at magic racing, you can by them from $7.00 to $25.00 and theres about 4 or five in the middle, its just a brand preference, but most 10 steel one will last as long as you need. I buy a new set of three every year, it cost me 39 dollars for all three the other day

if you want nice power out of a corner, in trails, or for hill climbing a 14 tooth would be great. if you ever race and get into 4th or 5th gear when racing, don't use it. you will be losing too much up there. i personally wouldn't put one on but thats just me. you can probally get one for $25 through a dealer.
