is there really any differnce between the years motor wise or frame anything besides the colors.

Other than the yeller ones i like the '98-'01's color scheme the best! I like the black seat on the '98 &'99's :blah:

the carb got bigger at some point. not sure which year.

I think it was rather 2000 or 2001, they went up to a 32 instead of a 28

i got a 2000 with a black fourtrax seat cover, now its makin me wonder if it is a 2000, since i am the second owner

look on the frame, it'll say HOnda like Motorsports on it and then will say TRX300EX and the year aka 2000

with a black sticker with silver outlining all honda's come with them

that sticker wasnt on when i got it, and it wouldnt be on there now cause i powdercoated it, but the plastics looked like the 2000`s plastics just with the different seat and black headlight housing

newer ones have a hood....neat....u should do that with the banshee and the warrior lol

I hate those handlebar covers on the 300ex.

Some of the internals changed like the oil pump and the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear cluster on the countershaft got changed. They changed the dogs on the gears so they're better.
