Guys, I've just received 2 emails within the last 30 minutes. One was titled "Wicked screensavers" and the other was titled "My Details". Both of these emails had attachments. These are virus emails and I just happened to be warned today at work on our corporate email system about these very emails. Watch out, they're going around.

Thanks for the heads up. :)

I receive a handful of emails every week (not sure why or how) from random names and/or people listed in my address book. They all contain attachments that have Klez32 in it. :confused2 MSN wont do anything, Ive email them twice and they just gave me some go-by-the-book thing that says to have anti-virus software  The emails are between 110K-150K.

Anyways, thanks again. :D

It's a virus that spreads itself through Outlook and then causes your computer to send other computers spam email.

This is a very good reason to have Norton or another anti-virus program! :D I have the newest version of Norton and it catches almost all viruses, but I would never download a file from a random person, or anything that wasn't regular in looks... like if it doesn't sound right, or there are odd charactures in the email, just delete it, like whats the worst that could happen, or save the whole email to disk, delete it off your computer, then if it turns out that someone sent it to you on purpose, you can retrive it :D

i've opened a couple of those type of emails accidently....but i didn't open the attachement....will i still get a virus??:confused2

400exmom, go into your "Deleted Items" folder if you're using Outlook or Outlook Express and shift+delete the emails so they're gone.

blondie69, you should be alright as long as you didn't open the attachment.

I just got another email. Same virus but now titled "That Movie". I'm running Norton but it's not an updated version of it and my email server has anti-virus protection but this is somehow getting through. I usually get an email from my ISP saying they deleted an email intended to go to me but was found to contain a virus.

No Joke, I received about 40 of those Virus emails on Monday, and over 300 yesterday. It took an hour to get all my mail and I have a high speed connection. I basically had to download over 30mb of virus files.

I usually try to delete them before I download my mail, but there were just too many. I having even tried to check the mail yet today. Who knows, I may have over 500 today.

I was wondering if I was just getting them because everyone I asked locally hasn't received one yet.

i believe the worm is callled W32.Welchia.Worm
it will Delete files: msblast.exe

I just read this morning that this was the fastest spreading virus ever. One out of every 17 emails sent was this virus and that's why so many of us have been getting these. This virus also plants a Trojan Horse in your PC where they can they use your personal email to send out spam to people.

You shouldn't have the Trojan Horse on your PC unless you opened one of the attachments. I just received 48 emails, all were these virus emails that I already spoke of:mad:

All the ones I've received have come in the form of replies, like I originally sent these emails out. I know for a fact that I haven't opened any of the suspect emails.
