i know 1350 is rediculous, but my dad went too 2 different dealers and one didnt even sell them cause low demand and the other has a few for that much. but since im only paying 1200 whatever ill do it. im getting it on tuesday :D :D , unless you guys can find me one cheaper in Michigan :confused: .

I stopped in at a dealer near Dover, De and the guy said 1400 for the ones he had. I said are you sure because I'll write a check right now and he wouldn't budge. I drove an hour down the road and the next dealer said, if you write me a check right now it's yours for 1050 OTD. I wrote the check and put the bike in the truck:D

dude :D im on an xrfiddy craze :D.. i havnt ever seen a 50 in action but my neighbour had an old Z50 with no power but it was so fun to ride i took it off a jump and busted the rim and that was the end of that .. (no shocks :rolleyes: ) :D i used to be depressed but just the thought of 50s being in my reech puts light on my life

parts to fix is cheap cuz its a 50.

but tommy is right, its just like riding alone with your quad. but its worse with a 50 unless your going to a destination. get a friend to get a 50, and youll be hanging out a lot lol

a stk xr50 SUCKS!!!!!!!! u won't be able to jump 2 inches on it... seriously...


to make a 50 fun u need atleast handle bars 180$ to 250$... u need for springs for the front 45$ ( i blew mine out already... they bottom out with the weight of the bike sittin there)... and u need a place to go ride it!!!!! if i rode around my yard and roads all day i'd shoot myself... but i go to 50 tracks... actual mini tracks designed for 50s... they have everything like a big track just scaled down... trust me u may really wanna think about it b4 u go and waste 1300$:confused2

tommy dont lie to the kid i jumped a 16 ft table top with mine and its all stock no lie, and i weigh 240, besides that ive jumped mine a ton, ive jumped a couple of are step up jumps and weve had step up comps with t hem, and mines fine and its over a year old

billy i'm serious...

if u go up and pick the front end up on my bike theres probably 2 inches sag in the front forks... its almost bottomed out just sittin there... also any lil bump i hit the completly bottom out... i've never really jumped that high on it yet bc i don't have the bars...

i weigh 135lbs 2... and the forks are toast...

my friends all have the fast 50s springs or the long travel tubes for theirs and its 100x better... it also raises the bike like a inch inches in the front...

those long tubes just raise the bike, and when you hit something they bend easier, id check those forks out weve all had ares for a year, all stock and no problems

Tommy has a point you need to put a lil money into it but i am riding it stock and im 230 im not hitting jumps yet :devil: but i will once my springs get here anyday i can see how much better bars will make the ride im just saving up for them should have em within 2 weeks. tommy when you getting your bars? are you going joker machine ? i am thanks for sending me the link. 50's are real fun stock or modded but once you get one your def gonna wanna put money into it cause there addicting ;)

i got a complty stock 50 an i can jump lots of things. i weigh 125 and i have jumped a table top thats lik 7 foot high and 7 foot wide. and mines still fine:huh

even if your the only small bike out there ppl will wanna trade bikes and try different thinigs

and there all stock you dont have to mod them the only thing this 50 had was a DMC pipe on it

every bike around here the 1st mod is bars... the 2nd is the fork springs... after that we all go to a xr70 rear end... i am goin with a lahaye i think...


yes they are fun... they are the most fun i've ever had... just make sure its what u want... i don't take any mercy on my bike... ask the people that were at rausch... i'll try to do just about anything with it... just wait till i get bars...


this saturday is a 50 race... if i can go (have to move my sister into college) i'll get u guyz pics of all the bikes... theres just about anything u can think of done to them...

no, the handlebars are that way cause the xr50 in its stock form is designed for "little boys", lmfao. These are peewee bikes built for little kids, lmfao.

im pickin up the fiddy on monday, i only gotta pay 1,000$, my dads paying the difference cause he doesnt wanna shop around. im not sure if its 03 or 04 but its brand new so i dont care. im pretty excited and already wanting to mod it and i dont even have it :)

i have a mild case of athletes athsma, i smoke and i could ride 5 miles straight no problem. i ride my bike quite a bit. it was the 35 degrees? i dont understand. i understand some people couldnt do it and thats ok.

i'm from Nebraska and i weigh 250 i got a stock 2003 xr50 for just goin nuts its stock and i jump it GOOD TIMES anyway i'm comming out to Michigan in a few weeks (in-laws) if you can wait that long i can bring you out a new 2003 for 1200w/ tax

Not sure where you live in Michigan but Anderson Motosports in Bloomfield Hills sells XR50's for ~$1200 OTD. And Honda East in Toledo lists their price as $1025 (not sure of OTD) on http://www.cycletrader.com.

I know a couple of guys who work at tower automotive, that bought cr450f's over there and saved almost a grand, buying them in canada, as well as some who bought foreman 450's for ice fishing.

I have nothing good to say about stevens in baycity, other then I got a good deal on my bike. There bike and quad knowledge is almost non exisitant, as well as there costumer service department.

dont wory first day i had mine i tryed to jump a little double. cased an went over the bars:D

i can wheelie mine forever its easy once your use to it, and adults can wheelie jump and do everything on stock bars it just takes some gettin use to
