What jet size should i run on an FCR 39mm with these mods..

WB filter with airbox lid ON..
WB mid range cam..
E-series pro meg full exhaust..

I am very interested my FCR 39 mm is on the way, and I am waiting to hear this, but I run No lid. with my mods.

I run a 165 main, 52 pilot, and OCEM-P needle in the middle position on a built motor. I would say try a 160 and work your way down until you find what it runs best with. I really don't have any experience with these carbs on basically stock motors, but there is a starting point.

w/ all my mods listed below, i am running

168 main ( switching up from a 165)
52 pilot
air screw 2.5 turns out
needle clip 3 or 4 from top, i havnt dialed this all the way in yet

i run a 170 dyno jet, thats what dynojet says to run with my mods

Is that for your 400ex or for the z400?

With the mods listed below.

168 main
52 pilot
Fuel screw out 2 1/2 turns

Don't know where the needle is. I bumped the main up from a 165. It seems to run good, however i am going to have it dynoed with a sniffer put in the pipe to get the jetting right on. From what i have heard the 165 / 52 combo seems to work in most applications.

WOW, 50 HP with cams, carb, pipe and K&N. Sweet, didnt think you could get 50 with out a big bore or strokin it.

I dont know about that I should get mine on a dydno then cause last week at the cabin my little nephew counted all mine and told me I have 126 stickers on my quad, I must have atleast 80 HP then. thanks for the info I guess i dont oven need a dyno after all, lol
