A buddy of mine recently got his 300ex stolen and he had insureance on it. He dont know what to do about getting his quad paid for . Does he just contact the insureance company that covers his quad and they write him off a check? Or how will he get the bike paid for?

If he owns the quad outright then yes the insurance company should write him a check for the "blue book" value of the quad. If he had a loan then the bank will get their money first then he would get the amount left over. Your friend should call his agent and get the full details. Sorry to hear he lost his machine. Hope they catch the theif.

Did he file a police report? The insurance company will probably need that info too.
