omf airscoops?

I just ordered some omf airscoops and want your guys opinion. Thanks.

Hey Honda, I had a set of the omf scoops and they are flimsy and a pain in the a** to install..... for the money I would go with the Tinner scoops , took less then 30min to install and are alot stronger... and the cost is alot less for the tinner scoops ... Just my opinion..

I have the OMF, I dont think they are flimsy and it only took me about tem mins. to install you just have to remove three bolts on each side then put them back in. Just my .02

If you get the chance look at the Tinner Scoops and you will see the difference. both in the mounting points (stronger) and the thickness on the metal used. ant the cost of the omf I paid 79.00 for them and they are not even close to the quality of the Tinner scoops (and no I dont work for Jim ) (owner of Tinner)..

59.95 for the scoops and 179.95 for my pro-armor nerf bars from magic racing.com. It was like 312.14 total in 2nd day air shipping, but than again I live in alaska.....Anyone used the pro-armor nerfs, if so you did you like them, or if you own a pair, how do you like them? thanks.

if u look at the omf and look at tinners, tinners are not functional, omf actually direct air to the oil cooler as welll as the motor, tinners dont, omf fit fine and there not flimsy at all! ive run mine for 2 season and the only complaint is its a lil harder to put on the front plastic but once u get the hang of it its easy

i got pro-armor nerfs and i love them. the nets come out far so if your foot slips the net gets it not like some i have rode with. also they attacht to the frame not useing a u-bolt. you will be happy with them:)

My OMF's were $39 shipped off ebay and I think there great. Installation was a breeze.:cool:

I have OMFs on my quad. Took about seven minutes to install. Uses the factory (Honda) bolts from the quad. Looks clean.

I then installed Tinners on a friends quad. No directions. Got a bag full of cumbersome clamps and zip ties. Took about 30-45 minutes to figure out exactly how they were meant to be installed. After installation, they looked like a nice set of scoops, that were installed with cumbersome looking clamps and zip ties.

OMFs are 100 times better looking after installation. Well worth the extra money.

Not trying to flame you but, there is no other mention of nerf bars in this posts, they are talking about air scoops.

PRM makes a real nice looking set of scoops now too. I'm sure if PRM made them, they'll be super stong also.

well I got a call from jason today(one of the guys that works at magic racing) he said they
didn't have any of the pro-armor nerfs in stock(web site said they did....) So I am going
to go with the ac nerf bars. Anyone have anything to say about these?
