ok, just got a dirt bike...YAHOOOOO:D
i wanted a project...and i sure got one
i have now a 1995 dr125 for $250:eek2:
it needs a gas tank, exhaust, rear fender, sidepanels, front and rear rim
think it is a good deal?
ok, i have searched all over the web for a couple of hours, called 3 suzuki dealers and none have a repair manual...so i cam here

my q is i am not good with electronics really, but i can pull apart a entire bike in a couple hours and build it back up in a day

my dad and i already built a kx80, but with a manual
i have all the electronics, but what do i put together, it is electric start, and i want to make sure it runs, is there anyway i can rig up my ex battery for a sec to see if it starts...how??
DOES ANY ONE KNOW ANY INFO ON THIS BIKE... i am guessing it is pretty rare:mad:

could i just hook the jumper cables up to the battery, ground one end and touch the other to the starter?

it shouldn't hurt it, just don't hold it for a long time to be on the safe side! :D Good luck with the project!
