Jettin Problems On A Raptor Help Quick!!!

OK well i put the yamaha racing full system on an 03 raptor and i followed the dyno jettin intructions to the letter

well it starts hard the mid range when your in like 1st gear and just goin slow through the trails is flat and when you shut it off a sparts a flame.

well i thought it was rich but why would it start so hard if it was rich i mean you have to put the choke all the way jsut do get it to start so that cant be it

so then this guy told me that it might be lean sooo iono now

what do you guys think???

i have a 165 in the main carb and a 160 in the 2nd carb

i knwo i have the right forum but i jsut though that a carb was a carb i mean if it dont matter if its on a 400 or a raptor

if its runnin rich you put a smalller jet in it doesnt matter what kidna bike and i am an active ex rider so i asked here i'm not even a member at blue trax

this is my dads bike and i jsut though that the members here could help me out thats why i asked

yaaaaaaaa, ok buddy.

The Bluetraxx.com is probably a good option.. that whole 2 carb thing is hard to understand.. Im not sure how it works.

When you accelerate and let off the gas does it go PoP...PoP...PoP...PoP.... or does it backfire?

Does sound lean to me, bump the main jet or jets however you mess with them carbs, and see how it rides then.

thats why i wouldnt want a raptor.......... 2 carbs to jet and both of them take a diffrant #.

what i would do is how many sizes did u bump it up on the main carb? id do the same on the second carb as well
