MUST Sell 1995 XR 250 with 280 kit

For sale is a MUST sell 1995 XR 250 with a 280 kit in it. The bike runs strong and is in good shape. The bike was bought early this year and has basically been sitting in the garage because I rode my XR 400. It has a FMF pipe on it now and an aftermarket carburetor was put on when the 280 kit was installed. The 280 kit was put in before I bought the bike. The pipe has the discs that can be put in or taken out, but the threads are stripped out so no discs are in now. It could use a little carburetor work because after it sits for a few days it is hard to kick start, but can easily be pull started. After warmed up for a bit and is shut off, it will kick start. I am thinking that it is just a problem with the float in the carb. which should be easy to fix. The bike will come with the stock carb., pipe, and odometer. The bike MUST be sold because of a lost job so I am asking only $1500 and might consider other offers. Bike must be picked up or I might meet a person for a little extra. If you plan on leaving that pipe on and not putting stock on, you might want to rejet because it is probably running a bit lean since it has no discs in. The tail light is not working now, I am not sure if it is broke or just needs a new bulb.

Well I have gotten a lot of inquiries, but no takers quite yet. So here is what I am going to do. I am going to lower the price to $1400!! I don't think the bike will last long at this price, so jump on this deal quick. Remember I am selling at a low price because of a lost job and need the extra money.

Bike is still for sale...I beleive the carb. problem has fixed its self. For the past 3 weeks I have started it once a week and it started up with no problem. I believe it was doing that just because it had been sitting for so long.
