Ok, im a 14 old girl (turnin 15 in a month) and i wanna get a sport quad. im interested in racing but not any time soon cuz i need alot more experience first. i wanna get a 4 stroke quad but i need suggestions on what to get. the only experience ive had was on my dads old kawasaki bayou utility, but im a pretty good rider for my age. i ride as much as i can. my brother also races alot on his 400 ex which inspired me but i dont want somethin that big to begin with. any suggestions on what to get???

i think a blaster is a great bike for you to start with - easy to throw around- power (but not to much)- i thinks its just a good quad for beginners thatts what i learnd on..

300ex. It's close to the size of the Bayou but much easier to toss around and a reliable 4 stroke. But it has a manual clutch. Or you can go 250ex which is a little smaller than the 300 with an autoclutch. Both are great bikes but it would be easier to get into racing with the 300ex. Glad to see another girl in the sport. Good luck

The Blaster also has a manual clutch. Sounds like the 250ex would be perfect for you. It has ok power and no clutch. Just gas and shift. Also the aftermarket has plenty of goodies for it.

Talk to the women that race the sport that you want to get into and ask them what would be best for you to start with . They have been there and know what it takes .

sound like the 300 is perfect i am with everyone else and with a 4 stroke you dont really have to shift that much the only difference in shifting a 250ex and a 300ex is you dont have to use a clutch you would still have to shift it while trail riding so do yourself a favor get the 300ex dont get frustrated while learning to use th eclutch and in the long run you will be thankful you got it.

Like they said, do yourself a favor and get the 300. The machine is bulletproof and learning a clutch is simple...doesnt matter if you trail ride or not. The 250 is not a race machine and will never be one...just get the 300. :)
