well everyone, if anyone has noticed i went for a weekend trip to new hampshire and we found so many different legal riding areas, one of these areas was just north of mount washington,(we ended up in maine at the end) and this is where my story begins
1st: we unload, im a little skeptical of the area but we get to riding and its fun, we take the powerlines for about an hr then into the woods, the triails are maintained to a point but there are rocks challenges ahead
2nd: we go on this camp road for 10-20 miles just cruising and its a little bumpy so were just maintaining top speed and suddenly my dad stops and says weve been riding for 5 hrs and its gonna get dark soon, (50 mile ride ahead)
3rd: were going down this rocky trail and finally im complaining about my arms being hella tired and my grip being shaky, i let my dad on the 300ex go ahead of me and im following him until he tells me to step off a little, so im bored (being behind a 300ex) and im doing wheelies through the water channels
last: just so happens the last water channel before the turn was mud so i sped up to the the corner and wheelied into the puddle like nothing came out and there was another right out of the turn, im goin about 35 out of this turn and i gas it to wheelie the water channel and i hit a slick of mud before the channel my hands come off i counterbalance on the back and i wheelie into a tree
aftermath: the quad flipped one complete turn and decided to land on me, and when you have any kind of emotion at all you kno that 370 lbs isnt shyt when you need it to be and i threw the quad off of me and my dad comnes runnin down the road grabs my helmet and stableises my head and holds my leg, my leg wasnt hurt too bad it was jammed at the shin from the footpeg and was only minorly bleeding, i had 2 cuts on the foot and 2 or 3 small tears on the other leg, my dad helped me up and i was off we did the rest of the trail very slow
quad aftermath: i hit the tree dead on the bumper, i was literally picking bark out of the center, the bumper was on bad shape, the right tie rod is bent at a 60degree angle and the right rim is just screwed
lesson1: always wear boots and riding pants and buckle your helmet i wouldnt have had any damage on me if i was
lesson2: dont be a jackass:blah:
