Has anyone ever tried a splitfire spark plug. I was wondering if there is anything to gain there?

I ran one. did not notice a big diff. in horsepower but it seemed like my bike ran better.

i dout you will notice much performance throughout plugs, although some of them do run better with certain bikes/specs then other ones

i have not had experience with them but i have been told they are junk from a few friends that tried them. i would just use the ngk if it was me.

Splitfire plugs are a waste of money, there is basically nothing to gain with them other than a more lightweight wallet. I run and suggest NGK plugs for their quality and price.

what about bosche platinum? anyone ran one, i kno they have one that fits the xr400, but idk about the ex,

anyone try the Iridium plugs on a 400? i used them on my banshee and they seemed to make it run better.

why not keep it simple....... run NGK
