u know how sumtimes when u bite your lip u get an ulcer? well i play the tuba in the hs band and on thursday i busted my lip with it....completely split my lower lip....it wasnt gushing blood or anything, but now i have like 4 ulcers....what do u guys do to get rid of them?

Rinse with salt water. It taste like chit but it helps.

ulcers are in your stomach, are you sure you dont mean a cankor sore???

I agree with him. If it is a cankor(sp) sore rinse with water and salt, it helps. Also there is a cream that is called hurricane gel that you can put on it. It numbs the sore so you dont really notice it because you cant feel it:ermm:

lol maybe its a geographic thing, but we call them ulcers around here....but yea theyre the same as canker sores....i've been rinsin with salt water and listerine and puttin med on em, but i got like 3 big ones so i really wanna get of them fast

yea i mean theyre so freakin annoying...everytime i eat sumthin its excrutiating pain

an ulcer is an open wound. It can be anywhere. my dad has one on his shin.

u do know that a canker sore it like a herpe and if she did she could give a canker sore on ur skin flute. i would never let a girl with anything funny looking on her mouth play a tune on my skin flute.:blah:

Go to the spice section of a grocery store and look for Powerdered Alum. (used in salads and pickling) Get a wet Q-tip, dip it into the Alum, and put that on your sore. Hold your lip out so your drool doesn't wash it away. Keep it on for about 2 mins, then rinse.

Twice a day, and your sores should be gone within 1-2 days.

It burns a little. It neutralizes the acids that cause the sores.
