Hi guyz,
I'm switching the rear tires on my 400 from 20" to 22" for more ground clearance. i want my gear ratio and acceleration to remain the same so i'm also putting a 14T on the front and a new 38T on the rear. My question is this. how many links will i need for my new chain? I believe the stock is 94 links. anyone have any ideas or experience with this?

Thanx

your stock chain will work fine with a 14tooth sprocket. all you need to do is adjust your chain tighter. it goes through the procedures in the manual.

Yeah, your stock chain will still work perfectly fine. However, your gearing is not equal to stock. You will still have more top end and less acceleration. If it is THAT important that you keep the stock gearing, go 14/39.
