I have a 14t sprket I want to install, but it seems it is not fiting right, do I remove the case saver?? please help asap

Is the 14T bigger than the stock one? 13T? I don't remember.

If so you might b able to grind away some material from the case saver so the 14 will fit.

Do not ride without a case saver.

DO NOT REMOVE THE CASE SAVER!!! It's just not worth it. If you break the chain, it will snap foward and crack the case. If you can rebuild the entire engine yourself, you're looking at a $200 repair. If you send it out, you are looking at a $600 repair.

If it truly doesn't fit with the stock case saver, look into an aftermarket case saver. It's worth it over the risk of cracking the case.

I got the sprket in and the chain with it too

however I do not have the case saver in, so I will have to grind it down to fit in...since no aftermarket companies make them for 300ex's

i ran a 14t on mine before and i didnt have to grind any of my case saver off. just work with it

This may or may not work...... Just an idea....

Loosen the chain......
Remove the front sprocket.....
Have chain around the front sprocket and hold the case saver around the chain and sprocket like it would be in when it is installed...
Install all three items at the same time as a unit.
