400ex ticking

I have started to notice that when im in first gear on my 400ex at a steady throttle it runs good. But as soon as i "blip" the throttle i hear a ticking noise. I am stumped. Do you have any idea what it could be? thanks.

Could be your valves, try adjusting them.:)

all honda 4 strokes have a rep. of them always tickin a lil all the time, its just how there made u cant help it, but u should try to adjust ur vavles anyway, it wont hurt anything to adjust them to intake .10 and exhaust .12
