This Cam is built for all bottom and mid. You do not need harden rockers or different valve springs. It's a drop-in. I was going to buy one, but I am waiting to see the new Honda first.

ya i thought so but the bay action said Mid to top. Thought that was kinda weird for being a GNCC cam

I bought the mx cam, and it was right at 200 I believe. And a 150 dollar core charge.
It may just be me, but he has very slow service, and not very good customer service.
I had to call him and remind him to get him to ship it-2 weeks later than he said it would be.
Then-I sent him my stock cam on July 24, and I am STILL waiting for my 150 dollars.
That's 24 days, and he still has my money. Guess I'll have to call him and remind him again.:confused2

would this Cam be good to run with an MX ported Cylender and a 4 angle valve job? or would it fight its self? like when people do top end porting but buy a bottom end pipe. In that kind of sence

I was Very pleased with my TC 926,ran it for almost three years heck it outlasted my first 400 so I put it in the new one.Two different valve trains and it worked flawlesly. As far as the port and polish and 4 angle valve job....I dont think you will have any problems.I recommend a Sparks pipe with it.TC is slow for one main reason,he sells quality products and is in HIGH demand!

i probobly should run a TC pipe..... seeing as how my motor is going to be Ported, by TC have a Valve job by TC, and have a TC cam. Would it really be better to run the TC pipe? i dont want to cut the stock header and then drill into my Sub Frame. I was thinking about running that new LRD exhaust

Spark is the strongest pipe on the market, but it is your choice.

From what ive heard the new LRD Pro-4 exhausts crushes the Sparks pipe from top to bottom. And theres no Quality issues involved either.

I have not read anything on the LRD so maybe your right.I can say from my own experiance that the Sparks pipe that I hade on my 400 was the strongest pipe I had ever run.I have not heard of any quality issues with the Sparks pipes?

i also had another question, is it okay to run Hardened rockers on a drop in cam? and would there be any advantages to this?

I believe (not positive) that the hard faced rockers will cause premature wear on the cam surface. This is a waste of money in my opinion, that is why they are called drop in cams.

with this cam does it give more bottom end? or does it keep it the same and just improve the mid to top? because i want to beable to have power for the trails, but yet still beable to have the top end for the MX track

More bottom to mid but I was running a Sparks X-6 so I could not tell for your set up.I can say that I raced many MX races and just about allways got the hole shot even over 440's and a few R's

amore bottom but the X-6 helped out all the way around.I never had much of a chance to get into 5th gear in the woods.
