well today my aunt and uncle randomly came over, and my uncle was dropping a bunch of pennies into my coin bank, then he was like wait, look whats there. i looked and there was a title and keys to his truck. i went out front and there she was, an 89 S-10 Blazer, 4x4, wheels, tires, exaust. FREE. Now all of the money i have been saving for a car or truck can go towards the overpriced insurance. i know nobody cares most likely but just wanted to share this great day's story

thats cool man i wish that could have happened to me in a way cause i have to pay for everything from my learners to my insurence. but hey i believe that if you pay for something out of your own pocket you have more respect for it and learn to manage your money but man its cool to get free stuff every once and a while. good luck with the truck and dont get stuck too bad(been there done that)

thats awsome, can't you put it under you parents name and just give them money for the insurence? Wouldn't it be cheaper that way.:confused:

does it have the 2.8 or the 4.3? if its 2.8 I feel sorry for you, poor things only have about 140 hp, but its easy to work on! i think the 4.3s back then were 180.

anyone remember when i posted that my brother crashed his car into a tree a month ago or so, well it was his 1989 cavalier and he slid out in a corner smoked a tree wrecked his car, well anywas my parents just went out and bought him a 98 pontiac sunfire, 5 speed. its bull **** they wont even buy me a car, favourism to the extreme:mad:

Wow thats real cool! Insurance is the worst rip off ever! Its good to have and all, but the prices are just outragous!

For those of you saying about Favourism, are you sure thats what it is... My sisters and bro say that about me, I got a MXZ, TRX 300 4x4 and a few other things from my parents so my bro and sisters started saying I was the "Favorite" etc, but my parents explained it to them this way; Who splits most of the fire wood (they don't do any of it, I do almost all of it...) and with the ATV I can haul the wood and other stuff around, I plow the driveway with it etc, and I do a lot of stuff thats why they get me stuff. I am not saying parents don't "favour" a child, I guess they do favour me, but its because I do stuff for them. So just check your selves on this one, I know my sisters and bro stopped saying that about me when they realised how much I do for our mom and dad. JMO :D

how much is your insurance? i pay 900 every six months for full coverage on a 88 s-10 pickup 2.8 v6 2wd standard cab short bed.

whats wrong with that? thats a pretty new car and if you have a trailor it will haul the quads around great!
