The bearings are bad in my stock A-Arms, What would you guys do? My budget is very tight, but I have everything apart and I need to do it soon. I am not racing anymore this year, but I would like it to last the entire season next year.

Sorry guys, I lied on the pivot works prices. Just the kit was $110. The kit and the bolts were $145.

if you dont plan on getting a arms soon and want it to last awhile i would go with Pivot Works bearing kit and greasable pivot bolts. If you are just goin to get new parts soon i would buy used a arm bushings from someone who is selling stock a arms. I was able to get all of the bearings, dust seals, c clips and all for 25 shipped.

I know i got very lucky with a deal like that even though they were used i only needed one and they lasted me the rest of the time i owned my a arms and when i sold them i gave the extras to the new owner and im sure they are lasting him awhile to. If you have some patience you can find some great deals.

For about $250 you can get 4 new a-arms from your dealer, or about $170 from service honda. You might also be able to find some old (maybe bent or broken) a-arms with some good bearings yo could switch out. I've got some old ones I could give you, but you'd have to come to Taylortown to get them.;)

how about you sell me your lower left a-arm with some bushings(or not)...give me a price & how to pay :)

Yeah Will, I'll be there!;) Actually I wish I could come. I have too much to do in the new house. I am also trying to get my ex back together. It is in 100 pieces in the garage. I am finally gusseting the frame, and plan on having it PC'ed. If I have everything back together, I was thinking about going to Crawfordsville. Just to check out everything for next season. So, I won't be at Taylortown, but I might be in Indiana! I will let you know. How much would you take to ship them to me?

Sorry, I hand deliver and only to RACERS!!!:p

I just checked, and, you don't want them. The bearings all have some rust on them.:(

There is a company called MSD I believe, they make strong arm a-arms. He sells nylon type bearing, non-grease, I dont really know the details on them, but they last a long time, so I've been told. There expensive but cheaper in the long run. Maybe do a search on google, a lot of people around here run them.

I got the kit from meszaros, but not the bolts, i like it so far, but make sure your arms are completely straight or its a bich getting the a-arms back on.
