i thought it controlled air. if so, then turning it OUT would lean out the mixture.

if it controls fuel then turning it IN would lean out the mixture.

oh, can you get the main jet mixed up with the pilot easliy? after i jetted mine it started right up, idled, ran, no break-ups. nonetheless, fuel injection owns!

150 main, 42 pilot. I think we left the needle where it was. I have an FMF Powerbomb, FMF PC4, UNI filter and two UNI vents in the lid. Not real sure on elevation, I am in northern Kentucky - 15 minutes south of Cincinnati.

thats is not correct. turning in the skrew leans the bike out. certain carbs are different than ours. our skrew is a fuel skrew, other carbs have an air skrew. turning out on ours richens the mixture, turning in leans the mixture out. on some others with an air skrew, it is opposite.

also, you won't get the mainjet mixed up with the pilot jet. both jets have #'s on them. your pilot will say 38 if it is stock. your stock mainjet will say 148 given that you don't have high altitude jets in from factory. the main jet is about half the length of the pilot jet. the main jet needs to be removed with a socket (so it has a hex head). the pilot jet is put in with a flat blade skrewdriver.

thanks.

like i said...fuel injection owns. give me a 255 lph pump, 92 lb/min injectors, 2800 hz mass-air sensor, piggyback fuel computer, 25 psi, 115 octane and i'm in business.
