what good mini bikes are out there?????

im looking into getting aomething to mess around on like an xr 50 or little 65 mx bike ect.... what all is out there i want something small with a crap load of power whats the pros and cons to each bike ect....

if you want something small with alot of power I would go with a 60 or 65 2 stroke like the KX, RM, and KTM

ktm 65's have a lot better & more suspention, a lot more power!!! im 245lbs, i rode a showroom ktm 65, not broken in, and it wheelied every gear and if i got one, the first thing i would do is put a longer swingarm on that peppy puppy :eek:

u can't buy all the parts for other bikes like the xr50...


z50s,ktm, cobra etc are junk for adults... yes the ktm and cobra will smoke a xr50 but u can't put 1/20th the mods on them as the 50 to make it comfortable to ride... and u can make a xr smoke the ktms and cobras...

i saw that the ktm 65 sx has 17 hp how much are they ktm's website didnt have an msrp for it are there as much aftermarket stuff for the ktm as the xr 50 has?? anyone know hp numbers for other bikes??ie kx65 rm65 also could the stock suspension of a ktm 65 hold 170 lbs all day?? so many questions thanks for the help

ok so a stock xr 50 + what mods to smoke the ktm ball park price if possable im a big honda person but i want to have a little beast and not spend 10 grand on a mini bike ive been looking at a mag with a "adultizing" your xr 50 section

i just got an XR50 and couldn't be more happy these things are a blast and the other bikes that compare were a lot more money. like tommy said the parts for the XR's are unbelievable..get an XR honda's are tuff as Sh** :D

the xr50 is more comfortable to me with bars and a high seat...


the z50 suspension SUCKS and u really can't make it any better... and its slower...

shoot i think it would be cheeper to just buy the ktm 65 sx and call it a day maybe put stiffer springs in the forks and rear shock ant that would be all it needs its going to cost a buttload of money to get around 17 hp and tall suspension on a xr 50

i bought a xr50 for one reason... TO RACE... if not i'd buy something else... all races here are xr50 only... anything else is considered a cheater bike... bc basically it is...

XR50's are better, plus the parts are cheap, the point of a pitbike isn't that its super fast, but thats why they are fun. big bore kits start at around 199.00, thats cheap. the entire taller bars setup with all the cable grip and throttle stuff is only about 250, and stiffer spring will be about 80 add it up and your still way under the price of the KTM :eek: but thats just my .02

get one of those new extreme pitpro bikes that just came out. They are based on a xr50 and the are all adult ready! for around $2000-2200 they are the baddest around. Everybody here wants one. I am trying to save money for it.:D

Get the Honda XR50!! These bikes are cheap and awesome! There is way more aftermarket parts out there than you would ever need. I saw the other day someone was even selling a turbo set-up for the XR50. How crazy would that be?:devil: I bought the XR50 for my wife to play on and she loves it.

me and my friend are gona fix his mini trail 50 (old xr 50) all that we need to do is put the gas tank on and fix the triple clamp....does anyone know where we could get a seat for it?

As for the trail 50 seat check eBay they always have what you need (usually)!
