Should i put all my money into suspension for the winter or moitor mods and supension, basically here are the mods i have so far.

LRD full system, K&N filter, Jet Kit, and Timing advance key, i also removed the choke and am running 14/39 gearing for lots of power in the woods, i still neve rhit 5th gear all the races here are pretty tight.

I have skids, bars, the usuall but this winter should i put all my money into really nice suspension setup or suspension and motor work, i have a budget of about 1800 left after gettinga few things already.

Im saying suspension which would be shocks front and rear, a arms, gussets and pc, and some new plastic to make it look better, then work on the motor a bit next year after i get a bit better at racing and improve my skills.

Def go suspension. I still think in the woods suspension and rider make up 100% of the skill. If you haven't changed suspension yet, you can ride so much faster and not get so tired. Which allows you to ride faster longer.

I got a used rear, and saved about $300. that is what I would do again, and I paid full price for the fronts.

I would throw it all into the suspension and work on the motor over the next winter :)

I would agree with the suspension work.

If it was just you and your buddies, I'd say motor, but if you are racing, then throw it all into suspension. You will be able to ride much faster, and your riding abilities will definitley improve much faster.

ive raced xc and mx and i like xc a hell of alot better, and dunes riding but i hate mx i like the big open corses and woods racing better.

im thinking of putting it into suspension since it will be a race bike, then like a few said work the motor next winter.

Definetly suspension. All the motor work in the world wont do any good if you can get it to the ground effectively.

nah, jk, put it all into suspension! i'm getting a 400ex this weekend and hopefully i'll be able to get a-arms, rear shock, -1 swingarm, and axle:D then it will be completely race ready, except for the engine, but who cares, mostly rider that counts right?

let us know what you do and how it turns out!

Might as well put it into your suspension, if you do motor work without suspension updates you won't be able to hold on for boucing around etc... :D
