I have a 416 right now at 10.8:1 with a stock carb.

Should I go with a 440 or a FCR. What will give me better results.

If anyone has done either of these upgrades was it worth it.

Thanks JohnP

It was my experience when I went to a 440 from stock it was a big improvement. Then I added the FCR some time later. It was as if I went from stock to a 440 over again. I would say add the FCR, you will see great improvement in power and throttle response. Then if you go to a 440 later you will all ready have the carb. :D

I would say add the carb also.. I had the 416 with stock carb and did the fcr and really like it. Colby had a 440 and the FCR carb and I did not like his 440. I like the way the 416 felt. JMO :)

What he said. The FCR is a great carb!

I have the same set up you have other than the cam. Running the HRC. Putting the FCR on was like doing my motor all over again. Very noticable difference. You will not be disapointed.

Bought mine at C&D. Best price I found on a new carb. Get the adjustable fuel screw also.

YZ did you ever finish having those heel guards custom made. If so how are they working.

I just had the local shop reinforce mine on both sides and they held up fine through WV.

The place has the blue prints for the guards. I can see how much they would be if your interested..
